Mer Sum urged not to ignore the air raid alert.

The mayor of Sumy Alexander Lysenko advised the residents of the city to leave it for the weekend. According to him, in the coming days, you need to pay more attention to your safety. Lysenko wrote about this on Facebook .

Avoid large crowds and do not ignore air raid alerts. If there is an opportunity to leave the city, then it is better to use it. I ask everyone to take my advice.

Lysenko stressed that the air raid alert should not be neglected.

At the same time, the mayor of Belopolye, Sumy region, Yuriy Zarko, urged residents to move away from the border with the Russian Federation.

Looks like we're in for a tough weekend. Therefore, I would advise those who have such an opportunity to go for a couple of days to visit relatives in villages, at least 40 km away from the border,” he wrote.

It should be noted that on the eve of the chairman of the Sumy Regional Military Administration (OVA), Dmitry Zhivitsky, said that there were not enough Russian troops on the border along the Sumy region to carry out the invasion.

They have single, wandering units that move along the border and shell our territory. Equipment periodically arrives at the border of the Sumy region. They are unloaded in the border areas of Russia and then proceed towards the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions. Recently, such events have been observed less and less, - said Zhivitsky.
