- Women's body armour is being tested by the Ministry of Defence

Servicemen of one of the military units of the AFU began testing two models of modular body armour with a structurally curved plate.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.
It is noted that the new development of women's body armour takes into account the peculiarities of the physique and wishes of servicemen. In particular, damping inserts have been added to the sides of the waistcoat, which ensure a tight fit to the body of servicemen and provide protection.
Personal protective equipment is being tested by women from one of the military units of the Armed Forces while performing combat training tasks. This allows the conditions of use of the new "armour" to be as close as possible to combat conditions. This is the second time the testing has been carried out.
After the completion of the "field" trial wear, the manufacturers will conduct laboratory tests. The body armour will be tested in different climatic conditions. Based on the results of these tests, the Ministry of Defence will approve the standard samples, and then the body armour will be considered accepted for provision in the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the ministry said.
After that, the purchase of personal protective equipment will take place.
