

Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in the G-7 summit. The key topics for Ukraine will be increased military support, supplies of F-16s and air defence systems.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will attend the G-7 summit in Italy on 13-15 June either in person or online. This was announced by the press secretary of the Office of the President, Serhiy Nikiforov, during a telethon.
He said that the key topics of Zelensky's talks will be further increasing defence support for Ukraine, accelerating the delivery of F-16 fighter jets and strengthening Ukrainian air defence.
Either online or there will be a physical presence there. There is no doubt about it. The G-7 are our main partners. We will talk to them about the key topics of our relations, including dialogues in bilateral formats with the G-7 states," Sergei Nikiforov said.
According to him, President Zelensky intends to discuss with the US further increase of defence support, development of a coalition of Western fighter jets and steps to accelerate the delivery of F-16s.
Also, one of the key topics will be the strengthening of Ukrainian air defence with additional systems and missiles to them.
This is the most sensitive topic for our cities and the frontline. And within the framework of the G-7 we will expect key decisions," Nikiforov said.
He also said that during his visit to Singapore, Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed air defence supplies with US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin.
Also the participation of the Ukrainian President in the G-7 summit was confirmed by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
Earlier Socialportal reported that Putin recently made a number of statements concerning Ukraine. In particular, he believes that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has "lost legitimacy".
