Zelensky named the number of the army and refugees

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the strength of the Ukrainian army is 880,000 people. He said this in an interview with the ARD TV channel.

In an interview with the German TV channel, the president spoke about the relations between Ukraine and Germany, the importance of continued support from the USA and possible consequences for the united Europe.

We have 880 thousand. We have a million-strong army. And at the same time we have 30 million people now, 30 million people are working, and maybe even more a little bit. I can't say the exact figure," Zelensky said.

He also said that it is still unknown exactly how many Ukrainians left the country after the outbreak of full-scale war. According to Zelensky, it is about 6.5-7.5 million people.

So we are talking about all the people who are in Ukraine. And they're all defending Europe and the world. Absolutely. At their workplaces, - Zelensky emphasised.

The President noted that one should believe in the people, in Ukraine, in partners. Believe in peace. Do not allow the destruction of Ukraine, the destruction of our nation. Do not allow global migration. Do not allow the third world war.
