Zelensky met with a journalist from the US TV channel Fox News near the front line in Kharkiv Region.

On Thursday, 22 February, the US TV channel Fox News aired an exclusive interview of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with journalist Bret Baier recorded near the front line. Fox News reported.

Bayer met with Zelensky near the front line in Kharkiv region, just a few kilometres away from heavy fighting. Distant artillery shots and explosions accompanied the interview and all morning as the team prepared for the interview.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an exclusive interview with FOX News, asked US President Biden and US Republican Party leader Donald Trump to visit Ukraine and see for themselves what is happening "on the front lines of this tragedy".

I'm happy to see all the candidates and all the people who make decisions or can support, not to be against, just to understand what the war in Ukraine means," Zelensky told Bret Baier.

What Vladimir Zelensky said:

The resignation of Zaluzhny and key leadership of the AFU is a reset, a restructuring of military management.

The losses of the AFU are five times lower than Russian losses.

Trump will not be able to end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours as he promises everyone.

Ukraine needs help from the West to increase weapons production, support defence and the economy.

Zelensky believes he would have won the election if it had been held.

On attempts on his life, the president said that after the fifth attempt, it is "not interesting to me now."

Putin will try to destroy NATO, he is a threat to everyone. When the world realises this, the war will end.

Asked when he thinks the war will end, Zelensky said that "the world is not really ready for Putin to lose his power. The world is afraid of change in the Russian Federation. European countries and the global South can choose".
