Zelenski visits Kherson: talks to locals and shows damaged energy facility

During his working trip, Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Kherson Region. There he talked to residents of the village of Posad-Pokrovske, which was damaged by Russian invaders. He also showed the damaged energy infrastructure.

It is noted that in the village of Posad-Pokrovske, the head of state talked to the locals about the current problems and needs, and toured the Point of Undisturbed and the mobile home.

At the moment, electricity and water supplies are being restored, a medical clinic is being rebuilt, and people are coming back. He also visited the Indestructible Point and one of the mobile homes installed in the village. Spoke with the locals about current issues and needs. Everything will be restored, everything will be rebuilt. Just like every town and village that has suffered from the occupiers," stressed the President of Ukraine.

Additionally, Zelenskyy visited one of the region's energy facilities and discussed the situation regarding the supply of electricity to Kherson settlements.

They discussed the resumption of electricity supply in the de-occupied territories and the repair of equipment destroyed as a result of Russian shelling. We must ensure that our energy sector is fully restored and protected. I am grateful to everyone who works to this end and brings light back to our people," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
