Zaluzhny confirmed the shooting down of Russian A-50 and Il-22 warplanes

The AFU shot down an enemy A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and an enemy Il-22 air control centre.

The AFU air forces have destroyed Russian A-50 and Il-22 warplanes. This was reported by the AFU commander-in-chief, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, on 15 January.

Soldiers of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the enemy aircraft A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and Il-22 enemy air control centre. Thanks to the Air Force for the perfectly planned and conducted operation in the Azov region," Zaluzhny wrote.

He also published a video showing the movement of Russian military aircraft.
