"Following the Russian warship": the AFU shot down the Su-24M bomber
An anti-aircraft missile unit "sent a Russian warplane following a 'Russian warship'".
The AFU Air Force has shot down an enemy Su-24M bomber near Zmeinyy Island, which was trying to strike the south of Odessa Region. Lieutenant-General Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the AFU Air Force, said this on 5 December.
It's been a long time since we have shot down Russian "Sushekas"! We are correcting this situation! It looks like the cruiser "Moscow" will soon become an aircraft carrier, - wrote Nikolay Oleshchuk.
It is noted that the Russian bomber Su-24M was destroyed near the island of Zmeiny. The aircraft of the occupants under cover of fighter Su-30SM, tried to make a missile-bombing strike on the south of the Odessa region.
The Air Force commander stressed that thanks to the successful operation of Air Command South, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile unit sent the Russian warplane following the "Russian warship".
