Wreckage of Russian "shaheddin" found in Moldova


The Moldovan Border Police believe that the wreckage belongs to a drone that was shot down by a Ukrainian anti-aircraft gun.
Fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Shahed type have been found in Moldova near the border with Ukraine. This was reported by NewsMaker on 11 February.
The wreckage of the UAV was found by the Border Police of Moldova near the village of Etulia, Vulcanesti district.
This information was promptly reported to the competent authorities. Access to the area of the UAV wreckage was restricted. There is no risk or danger for the population in the area, and the authorities have taken all necessary measures to maintain public order, peace and security," the Border Police said.
The Russian drone attack took place on the night of 9-10 February in the Izmail district of Ukraine, near the border with Moldova.
