Mobilisation continues in Ukraine and men aged 50 to 60 are not exempt from conscription.

According to the Volyn TCC and SP, mobilisation of this age group is carried out in accordance with the approved procedure, which is regulated by internal documents intended for official use. This does not mean that mobilisation is cancelled for this category of citizens.

Men over 50 years of age who are not exempt for health reasons or other legitimate reasons may be called up for military service. During mobilisation, health suitability for service, military specialty and previous military experience are taken into account.

Demographer Lidiya Tkachenko estimates that about 31 million people live in the territories controlled by Ukraine, but the exact figures may vary depending on the source. As for the number of men of conscription age (25 to 60 years old), estimates of the mobilisation resource vary from 2-3 to 5 million people.
