Which territories of Ukraine are under Russian control in October 2025


The occupiers seized new sections of Ukrainian territory in October.
In October 2025, Russian troops occupied 267 km² of Ukrainian land, which is comparable to the level of September and constitutes 0.04 per cent of the country's territory. This was reported by DeepState analysts .
Now the total area of temporarily occupied territories reaches 19.09%, with the number of assaults increased by 2.3% and the captured areas by 3.1%.
The highest losses are recorded in the Novopavlovka - Gulyaypol area, where 69% of all occupied lands and 16% of assaults are concentrated. In the Pokrovskyi direction, the intensity of fighting remained the same, while in the Limanskyi section it decreased. Tension increased in the areas of Konstantinovka and Kharkiv (from Kazachya Lopan to Dvurechanskoye)," DeepState specified.
Russian troops also captured the village of Novogrigorovka in Zaporizhia region and advanced near Krasnogorskoye in the Alexandrovskyi direction. Advancement was noted in Myrolubivka and near the village of Kazachye in Donetsk Region in the Pokrovskyy direction.
Experts note: despite the local successes of the occupiers, Ukraine's defence continues to hold strategic positions and the fight for every piece of land remains fierce.
