In early July, the G7 countries approved a declaration promising to provide Ukraine with security guarantees. Earlier, it became known that 31 countries had already joined the declaration.

Six countries of the European Union have not yet joined the declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine. This was stated by the deputy head of the presidential office for international affairs, Andriy Sibyga, during the broadcast of a telethon.

Only six out of 27 EU countries have not yet signed the joint declaration on guarantees," Sibiga said.

He pointed out that the countries in question are Austria, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Malta.

We are now working with these partners so that they also join the declaration," the deputy head of the OP added.

Sibiga noted that Kiev is negotiating with these countries on how they can commit themselves in one of the blocks fixed in the declaration.

We are talking about specific things in which one or another state is stronger and is ready to assume part of the responsibility," he added.

We would like to point out that 31 countries have already joined the declaration.

Ukraine has repeatedly stated the need for security guarantees. They are needed to prevent Russia from attacking again until our country becomes a NATO member.
