Where can Zelensky, Trump and Putin meet: media named options

EU disputes location of possible trilateral meeting between Trump, Zelensky and Putin.
There is no consensus in the European Union on where exactly a trilateral meeting between US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin could take place. This is reported by Sky News.
According to the publication, the United States has already warned European partners about the need to be ready for negotiations in the coming days. It is tentatively discussed that the meeting will take place in Europe, unless there are unexpected changes.
During the allies' video call, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni suggested a meeting in Rome, while French President Emmanuel Macron suggested Geneva. Zelensky and Trump are noted to be leaning towards the Vatican option, while Putin insists specifically on the Swiss venue.
The foreign ministries of Italy and Switzerland have confirmed their readiness to host the talks. At the same time, the EU continues to consider other possible cities, including Budapest and Helsinki. At the same time, another format is being discussed: earlier, Donald Trump announced a meeting with Putin on 15 August in Anchorage, Alaska.
