Russia carried out another attack on Ukraine in the freezing cold because it is not interested in a diplomatic way to end the war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed such confidence, assessing the massive Russian attack on Ukraine on 3 February against the background of peace talks.

Using the coldest days of winter to terrorise people is more important for Russia than the limitations of diplomacy. And it shows very clearly what is needed from partners and what can help. Timely delivery of missiles for air defence systems and protection of normal life is our priority," Zelensky said.

Without pressure on Russia, he emphasised, there will be no end to this war.

Now, he said, Moscow is choosing terror and escalation, and therefore maximum pressure is necessary.

The targeted strike was again aimed specifically at energy facilities: the Russians used a significant number of ballistic missiles in combination with other missiles - more than 70 missiles and 450 attack drones. The Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv regions and the capital, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa and Vinnitsa regions came under attack. At the moment it is known that nine people were wounded as a result of the attack," the President stated.

He specified that there is damage to ordinary residential houses and energy infrastructure - Kiev after the drone hit there were fires in multi-storey buildings, a kindergarten was damaged.

As Socialportal wrote, the Russian occupiers on the night of 3 February carried out a combined strike on Kiev, Kharkiv and a number of other regions. Many houses in the capital were damaged, there were fires, and there are victims. The enemy hit the capital with drones and missiles. The consequences of the Russian Federation attack on the capital were recorded in five districts of the city. Among the damaged objects are houses, petrol stations, a kindergarten and cars. More than 1,170 multi-storey houses in Kiev were left without heating due to the Russian attack.

The Russians attacked Kharkiv with drones and missiles on the night of 3 February. The enemy purposefully hit the energy sector in the freezing cold, which led to certain consequences and forced decisions. Explosions from missiles were heard periodically and generally lasted for several hours. The Russians are purposefully hitting the energy infrastructure. The goal is to cause maximum damage and leave the city without heat in severe cold - the Russian strikes forced water to be drained from the pipes, as a result of which 820 houses in Kharkiv are now without heat. In addition, explosions were heard in Vinnitsa, Dnipro and Sumy.
