Cause injuries: Ukrainian MP showed phosphorus bombs dropped by invaders
The invaders use phosphorus bombs. They are prohibited. Ukrainian MP Maryana Bezuglaya published a video of the shelling, which she herself filmed on the front line.
This was reported by the Pavlovsky News Telegram channel.
The weapon contains white phosphorus, which spreads a flammable compound whose combustion temperature exceeds 800 °C. The affected area can reach several hundred square meters.
Burning continues until all the phosphorus is burned out or until the supply of oxygen stops. Such weapons can cause especially severe and painful injuries or provoke a slow and martyr's death. For the treatment of such injuries, specially trained medical personnel are required, who can also receive phosphorus wounds during work, the report says.
