All night and morning Kherson region was under enemy shelling

Until the morning, rescuers eliminated the consequences of night shelling," the press service of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine said.

Three people, including two children, were injured in one of the fires. Emergency workers helped transport and handed the injured children to medics.

In Kherson, enemy fire damaged residential houses, shops, an enterprise shop, a kindergarten, a gymnasium, a gas pipeline, a business centre, a humanitarian headquarters, a church and an ambulance station," Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional state administration, said.

As a result of the shelling of Kherson, a family was injured, the girls-sisters 12 and 13 years old were taken to hospital.

The older one has a moderate abdominal wound, the younger one has an acute reaction to stress. Their 39-year-old mother was treated on the spot," the head of the region added.

During the shelling of Zolotaya Balka, a 59-year-old local resident was wounded. She was hospitalised in a medical facility.

The Russians shelled the transport company at around 10:00 am.

As a result of the shelling, four people were wounded, two of them are in a serious condition," Prokudin said.

The Russian army is striking Kherson from the temporarily occupied left bank," Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson MIA, said.
