Military mutiny in Russia: Medvedev speaks of "universal catastrophe"

Medvedev urged to rally around Putin "to avoid disaster"
Dmitry Medvedev called for rallying around Vladimir Putin, and said that Russia was on the brink of a "universal catastrophe". This is how he reacted to what is happening in Russia - the Prigozhin mutiny.
Now, the most important thing for victory over the external and internal enemy, which seeks to tear apart our Motherland, to save our state is to unite around the President, the Supreme Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the country. Divisiveness and betrayal are the way to the greatest tragedy, a universal catastrophe. We shall not let it happen. The enemy will be defeated! Victory will be ours," Medvedev wrote.
We shall remind you that earlier, Prigozhin accused the Russian Ministry of Defence of striking his fighters' camp. The ministry denied this information. Prigozhin took over Rostov and Voronezh, the columns with his equipment went to Moscow.
It should be noted that pro-Kremlin channels said that in the morning Putin called Lukashenko, but the latter, according to the media, had already left for Turkey and took his family out. Later, Putin called President Tokayev of Kazakhstan. However, the latter, in response to Putin's statement that the CSTO should support Russia, stated that Prigozhin's mutiny was an internal Russian affair.
The CSTO military alliance implies the deployment of military contingents in the countries on request, if necessary.
Meanwhile, the rebels have successfully passed Voronezh and are advancing through the Lipetsk region. They boast online that they have shot down advanced outposts of the "Rosgvardiya" and taken trophies.
