Venediktova summoned Shoigu, Medvedev and Volodin for questioning

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine declared members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation as suspects in the case of encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the GPU.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin and other high-ranking officials were issued summonses for interrogation.
However, Russian President Vladimir Putin was not included in this list. Earlier, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova explained that he could not be declared a suspect in Ukraine because of his functional immunity.
In the Ukrainian courts, we cannot do anything while Vladimir Putin is the president of the country. But we understand that this is possible in the International Criminal Court, if his prosecutor decides that he is guilty,” Venediktova said.
