The Ukrainian flag flies on the western outskirts of Soledar

The Ukrainian flag is flying in the western outskirts of Soledar, Donetsk Region. Ukrainian defenders control the situation, intensive fighting continues, the commander of the SARG separate tactical air reconnaissance group "Birds of Madiar", call sign Madiar, said in a Telegram channel.

In a telethon broadcast, Magyar said that artillery in the town had been somewhat quiet in the last hour, as serious fighting continued during the night:

The enemy is pressing with its own forces to bypass Soledar both from the north and the south and reach certain settlements on the map. But it fails and methodically gets what it deserves. After replenishing its forces, it tries to go again and so daily

According to Madyar, Ukrainian soldiers have created a reliable barrier as a result of prolonged fighting and plan to stand against the enemy for as long as necessary.

Earlier the president said that heavy battles for Bakhmut and Soledar (Donetsk Region), for Kreminna (Luhansk Region), for other towns and villages in eastern Ukraine were still going on.
