A three-day mourning period has been declared in the Cherkasy region for the dead.

In the Cherkasy region, five people who died in a Russian attack on a residential building will be said goodbye today in Uman. They will be buried first. This was announced by the head of Cherkasy OVA Igor Taburets.

Taburets said that mourning is not a formality, but the least that everyone can do to support those who have lost the most precious things.

  • Kirill Anatolyevich Pisarev, born in 2005.

I ask all non-indifferent Uman citizens to join us in saying goodbye," urged the mayor of Uman.

According to the latest data, as a result of the shelling of Uman, 23 people died, including six children. Rescue workers, police and volunteers managed to rescue 17 people from under the rubble. Two more women have been reported missing.
