The first Patriot systems have already arrived in Ukraine
The Patriot systems arrived in Ukraine thanks to Polish efforts, among others.
This was announced by Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak in an interview with LA RAZÓN.
The Polish minister noted Poland's role in the transfer of these systems to Ukraine.
Thanks to Poland's efforts, Ukraine received, in particular, Patriot batteries and the first Leopard tanks.
Blaszczak said that Poland was not only the main point of transfer of aid to Ukraine, but also one of the largest donors.
According to him, Poland has transferred over 2.2bn euros worth of weapons to Ukraine since the start of the all-out war. At the same time, the amount does not include the costs the country incurs for training the Ukrainian military and the latest "armoured vehicle" package, which includes Leopard 2A4 tanks.
It is worth recalling that earlier this year Ukrainian fighters went to the USA and Germany to learn how to operate Patriot systems.
