Ukrainian military comes to the US to learn how to maintain Patriot air defences

The Ukrainian military are already at the US military base in Oklahoma. There they will undergo a training course in the use of the Patriot missile defence system.

It is known that about a hundred Ukrainians have arrived in the US. The Pentagon has prepared an accelerated training programme for them.

Earlier it was reported that the training of the Ukrainian military would last several months, whereas the standard training period is six months or even a year.

Earlier, the USA said that it would provide Ukraine with aid worth 2bn dollars. This will include batteries of the modern Patriot air defence system.
