Ukraine has certified the first demining vehicle

The innovation of Kharkiv manufacturers has passed certification - now Ukraine can produce machines for preparing soil for demining.
The demining machine is capable of disarming anti-personnel mines and detecting anti-tank mines.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy.
The manufacturing company was provided with a certificate of conformity and a declaration of conformity. This allows the developers to establish production of machines and use them for demining territories.
The Ministry of Economy notes that the advantages of Ukrainian machinery are simplicity of design, low cost of production, maintenance and repair. Every month manufacturers can produce two such machines.
We are interested not to import equipment, but to buy our own. Therefore, of course, we support efficient Ukrainian developments. The key task today is to scale the production of domestic manufacturers, - said the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.
She added that the machines will be useful for the State Emergency Situations Service, the State Special Transport Service and private operators involved in demining.
Currently, there are 20 machines and about 3,000 demining specialists working in Ukraine. However, this capacity is not enough to clear the entire territory of the country of explosive devices.
Earlier, Socialportal reported that more than 416,000 explosive objects had been defused in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion.
