In Ukraine, women's military uniforms will be sewn

Now more than 50,000 women serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of which over 3,500 are senior officers.
At the moment, female military personnel in Ukraine receive a uniform tailored for men. Such clothes do not take into account the anatomical features of women and are often uncomfortable for them to wear. The deputy of the Kyiv City Council Irina Nikorak announced that she was launching the production of military uniforms for women. This was reported by the press service of the body.
She also clarified that more than 50,000 women serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of which over 3,500 are senior officers.
Women serve in the rear, on the front lines, in tank troops, medicine, aerial reconnaissance, and artillery. They can also be company commanders, platoons. However, they all wear male military uniforms, she said.
Nikorak noted that comfortable and functional ammunition is included in the basic need of every military man, regardless of gender.
However, there are no women's military uniforms in Ukraine, you can only buy them abroad or make them yourself,” she stressed.
She added that her project "Arm Women Now" has already made patterns for sewing women's clothing in Ukraine. Funds for the production of clothing are planned to be raised from auctions. Lots for them will be given by famous musicians, athletes, public figures.
