A blogger-provocateur was detained in Poltava for insulting the military (video, photo)

The SBU, together with the National Police, has detained a provocateur who publicly insulted the Ukrainian military in Poltava. This was reported by the SBU directorate in Poltava region.

The attacker is a local fitness trainer-hot supporter of the Kremlin narratives about the war in Ukraine. Documented case when, being in the city centre, the figurehead began to provoke and profanely insult officials of the local military registration office, - stated in the message.

During the incident, he groundlessly accused the Ukrainian defenders of allegedly being guilty of unleashing war against Ukraine and "killing people for money".

The accused spat at one of the military men. He turned out to be an AFU fighter, who returned from the front, having received a contusion and numerous wounds as a result of a mine explosion.

According to the investigation, the provocateur recorded his criminal actions on camera. Then he published the filmed video with "comments" on social networks.

According to the SBU, in this way the defendant has repeatedly tried to discredit the Ukrainian defenders who are fighting the Russian invaders.

After the last most high-profile case, the man tried to flee from justice. However, law enforcers detained him. Now the issue of suspicion is being resolved.
