According to the publication, the Ukrainian woman was at a friend's party in the centre of Warsaw that night. Later she decided to call a taxi home.
She says that during the ride the taxi driver used force and forced her to have sexual intercourse with him. After getting out of the car, the victim went to the police and reported the rape.
The driver was arrested and charged with assault and rape. The court remanded the suspect in custody for three months.
At the same time, local media reported that a Ukrainian woman had called a Bolt company car that night, and that the driver was allegedly a native of Turkmenistan.

His employers said they were saddened by the incident, but assured that drivers were subject to the strictest possible controls.
