A family from Chernigov wounded in Okhmatdet got wounded by the occupiers

The family dared to run away when all the main bridges from the city were destroyed. There was only one road left. The whole day the Russians did not stop shelling. As soon as the family passed the bridge and got out of the car for a while, another enemy attack began. The first shell hit a neighboring car, 5 meters from the family. The car exploded, fortunately, there were no people inside. The entire family was injured by shrapnel. 5-year-old Dima's leg was badly wounded, his mother was hit by shrapnel. Numerous injuries were received by the father, and the older sister and his boyfriend. Then the Russians fired more than 20 shells.

I ran to the car, I saw wounded people around, with their legs cut off, I saw a dead woman, - says Tatyana.

The child was bandaged with a tourniquet and was urgently brought to the nearest local hospital. On the way, the boy said that he did not feel pain at all, although his mother could not look at his injured leg. The family received first aid at a small local hospital. Then they sent me to Okhmatdyt. Now the families continue their treatment in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
