In the town of Kurchatov, Kursk Region, a fire started in a "non-residential premises" after a drone attack

The Governor also noted that the fire was allegedly liquidated. There are no casualties, and law enforcement agencies are working on the site.

It should be noted that Kurchatov is the town where the Kursk NPP is located.

Later, around 2 a.m. on 4 September, residents of Kurchatov again reported the sounds of explosions. According to eyewitnesses, 3 to 5 explosions were heard in the sky.

Soon the Russian Ministry of Defence made a statement. It said that two UAVs were allegedly shot down over the Kursk region and near the Crimean peninsula around 1:00 a.m. on 4 September.
