According to journalists, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, arrived in Kyiv on Monday for a series of high-level meetings.
Georgieva will meet with representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers. She is also expected to meet with the leadership of the National Bank of Ukraine and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the agreements, one structural beacon assigned to the National Bank in the monitoring programme is the development of technical specifications for a diagnostic survey of banks. Among the most important PMB goals assigned to the NBU: ensuring an adequate level of international reserves, as well as the elimination of direct budget deficit financing by the National Bank in 2023.
