The Cabinet told what part of the housing and communal services facilities are ready for winter

More than 30% of heat supply facilities, housing stock and social facilities have been prepared for the upcoming heated season in Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshev during a meeting of the Headquarters for the preparation of housing and communal services and the fuel and energy complex for the autumn. -winter period (RAM) 2022/23, writes Interfax-Ukraine.

The Ministry of Regional Development clarified that as of early July, 51,056 residential buildings were actually prepared for winter, which is 33.8% of the planned one.

UAH 1.7 billion is provided for repair work from local budgets and other sources of financing, UAH 359.3 million has already been used. or 21.1%, - specified in the department.

According to the Ministry of Regional Development, 33,225 social facilities are preparing for the heating season, including 12,134 preschool educational institutions, 13,863 schools and 7,228 healthcare institutions. 11,666 (35.1%) have already been prepared, including 4,086 kindergartens (33.7%), 4,820 schools (34.8%) and 2,760 hospitals and polyclinics (38.2%). UAH 816.7 million are provided for these purposes, UAH 188.7 million have already been used. or 23.1%.

Chernyshev said that as of July 12, due to the war, 345 critical infrastructure facilities in the heat supply sector were hit, namely: 336 boiler houses (324 damaged and 12 destroyed) and 8 thermal power plants (4 destroyed and 4 damaged) and 1 thermal power plant was damaged.

The minister recalled that on July 13, by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, 1.4 billion hryvnias were allocated. for the formation of a stock of reserve equipment and materials to provide operational assistance to communities during the heating season and allocated 286 million hryvnia. from the reserve fund for the restoration of heat supply in Kremenchug, Akhtyrka and Chernigov.

From the Ministry of Energy, we heard assurances of a sufficient current amount of resources, which makes it possible to start the heating season, as well as the availability of an appropriate level to pass it. At the same time, I plan to meet with all the heads of regions and mayors of cities where there is a district heating system. We will discuss the readiness of each city for the heating season, Chernyshev said.

He also added that two more factors are important for the successful completion of the heating season - price stability and financial solvency. The minister once again assured that heat tariffs would not rise.
