So, on Friday, June 17, in Israel, for the first time in a long time, more than 7 thousand new cases of infection per day were detected.
Today, almost all cities in Israel are recognized by the Ministry of Health as "red" in terms of the dynamics of the spread of coronavirus infection.
So far, the Ministry of Health does not insist on the return of the "mask regime" in the premises and public transport, although it recommends wearing masks.
According to the agency, almost 47 thousand people are currently infected in the country, 572 people have been hospitalized, the rest are being treated at home.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic in the world in Israel, more than 4.2 million cases of infection have been detected, among them 10.8 thousand people have died.
According to the Israeli Ministry of Health, as of June 19, 6,710,921 people (72% of the country's population) received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, and 6,142,986 people (66% of the country's population) received the second dose.
4,496,955 people were vaccinated with the third dose (48% of the country's population). The fourth dose was received by 818,718 people (9% of the country's population).
