The SMM says what will happen on the front in the coming months

Active fighting on the front will continue in the near future.

The Ukrainian intelligence service believes that there will be active battles on the front in the next two or three months. The deputy head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Vadym Skibitskyy, has said.

According to him, these will be both offensive and defensive operations. He also stressed that the main goal of the counteroffensive was to liberate all the territories temporarily occupied by the occupants.

Skibitskyy pointed out that the Russian army is drawing conclusions and planning to regroup its forces.

We will be focused on midsummer, whether the enemy will be able to carry out its plans for modernization, regrouping, formation of new formations and units, and how they will reform," Skibitsky said.

He reminded that Russian commanders have already officially announced about the reforming, restoring of Leningrad and Moscow military districts.

After this, it will also be possible to assess the capabilities of the Russian Federation and to forecast the possible nature of Russia's actions already for the autumn-winter campaign," the deputy head of the Defence Ministry's SDC added.

It should be noted that Ukrainian troops are advancing in the east of our country. According to official data, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have liberated eight settlements in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya regions in a fortnight.
