Four injured in Russian shelling in Donetsk region

The enemy launched an artillery strike on a supermarket in Kurakhovo, injuring four people.

Law enforcers are documenting the crime and have launched an investigation, the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office has said.

Today, August 24, around 11:00, the Russians shelled the centre of the town of Kurakhovo in Donetsk Region. According to preliminary data, the enemy used barrel artillery.

The Russian shells hit one of the local supermarkets, where civilians were at the time. Four local residents aged 25 to 66 years old received mine blast injuries and bruises, one of them was extracted from under the rubble," the prosecutor's office said.

The victims were given all the necessary medical care.

In addition, a critical infrastructure facility, an administrative building and an apartment block were damaged.
