According to preliminary information, a train carrying fuel derailed in the Bryansk region. An explosion was heard before it happened.
Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogmaz said:
An unidentified explosive device went off in Unecha district at 136 km of the Bryansk-Unecha railway track, resulting in the derailment of a freight train locomotive. No injuries were reported.
So far, trains have been stopped on this section of the road. Operational services are working at the scene.
7-8 cars are lying on their sides at the moment, there was a fire.
It is reported that the connection between Belarusian Gomel and Russia is disrupted due to this event.
