Britain has made a disappointing prognosis for the duration of the war in Ukraine
British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace expressed confidence in Ukraine's planned counter-offensive, but made it clear that the war would likely continue next year.
This was reportedby the European Pravda.
According to Wallace, Putin is showing no signs that he is going to retreat, despite the heavy losses of his army. He stressed that Russia cannot collapse "by magic".
It's hard enough to predict how much damage he (Putin - ed.) is willing to take before he realises the game is up. I'm just trying to make it clear that no offensive will result in a sudden collapse of the Russian army," Wallace said.
He added that international support for Ukraine's allies remains strong. And Wallace also urges a realistic view of the current state of affairs.
