UN helicopter hijacked in Somalia: Ukrainians on board

Four Ukrainians were on board the United Nations helicopter that was hijacked in Somalia.
This was reported by a representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Oleh Nikolenko.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry confirms the capture of four Ukrainians on Somali territory controlled by anti-government forces," Nikolenko wrote on Facebook.
According to him, the Ukrainians were crew members of the UN Mission helicopter. Their identities have already been established. There were five other foreigners on board the helicopter.
The raptured helicopter belongs to a private Ukrainian company, which fulfilled the transport contract on behalf of the UN.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Kenya and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN in New York have already received urgent instructions from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to take the necessary measures," Nikolenko added.
The Foreign Ministry keeps the situation under special control. All the details of the accident and the seizure of transport, as well as the condition of the Ukrainians, are being clarified.
