Ukrainian intelligence agency comments on explosions in occupied Sevastopol

The blown up oil products were intended for the needs of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

An explosion in Sevastopol on Saturday morning, 29 April, destroyed about ten tanks of Russian oil products. Their total capacity is about 40,000 tonnes. This was reported by Andrei Yusov of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defence Ministry.

In the city of Sevastopol on 29 April there was a "bavovna", which is God's punishment, including for the civilians killed in Uman, among them five children. This execution will be long-lasting. It is advisable for all residents of temporarily occupied Crimea to stay away from military facilities and facilities supporting the aggressor's army in the near future," Yusov said.

He also added that the PGO is aware of embezzlement committed by local occupants at this and other facilities.

It is worth noting that we know about embezzlement of oil products and other corrupt actions by officials of the occupying authorities at this oil depot and other facilities of the occupants. This certainly expands the capabilities of the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces," Yusov noted.

It should be noted that there was an explosion in Cossack Bay in Sevastopol around 4am. This was followed by a large-scale fire at an oil depot. The occupants reported that fuel tanks were on fire and said that the area of the fire was 1,000 square kilometres.

In his turn, the head of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, suggested that the fire at the oil depot in occupied Sevastopol had been planned and prepared because the tanks did not catch fire on their own.
