Ukrainian military officer sentenced to 25 years in Russian Federation

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation states as if Shmidt resettled a civilian resident of Mariupol.

Shmidt fired at least 20 aimed shots from a Kalashnikov assault rifle. As a result, the victim died on the spot from his wounds. The court sentenced him to 25 years of imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony, - reported in the committee.

Petro Andryushchenko recalled that the sentence of Ruslan Shmidt became the 19th fabricated case against the Ukrainian military over the past 16 days.

Earlier, Socialportal reported that Ukrainian military officer Pavlo Zaporozhets was sentenced to 12 years in prison under the article on "international terrorism" in Rostov-on-Don.
