Ukraine is working on the development of alternative logistics routes.

Tax revenues to the state budget are 25-30 per cent higher than forecasted at the beginning of the year. This was stated by Minister for Community, Territory and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov during a panel discussion on Ukraine's recovery at the Munich Security Conference, Suspilne has reported.

He pointed out that the government was able to receive additional finances thanks to the successful functioning of the humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea created by Ukraine.

The good news is that we are starting to get back to previous figures in our key export areas: agriculture, metallurgy, etc. We have resumed exports and that makes us stronger. The figures in November and December last year are very optimistic," the minister pointed out.

He explained that the first sign of this is the growth in the volume of goods that the Ukrainian railway delivers to seaports.

This is the first indicator, but in general we see that the tax revenues in January are more than it was assumed in the budget, by 25-30% depending on the group of goods. And in general - it's more than we expected," he said.

At the same time, he noted that Ukraine should look for new alternative ways of exporting Ukrainian products abroad: open new border crossings and increase the capacity of existing ones.

Ukraine is currently working on joining the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T)," the official said.

According to him, the construction of the first track according to the EU standards in the direction of Poland will start this year in order to combine the Ukrainian system with the European one.

Note, the national carrier - PJSC Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company (UDP) is already preparing to launch barge container caravans to the Middle and Upper Danube. The shipping company offers delivery of containers to the Danube ports of Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and the Romanian port of Constanta.
