Ukraine returns kidnapped 17-year-old girl from Russian Federation

A 17-year-old girl who was kidnapped and taken to Russia from the occupied territory has been returned to Ukraine, the head of the Save Ukraine charity organisation, Mykola Kuleba, has said. This was reported by the head of the Save Ukraine charity organisation, Mykola Kuleba.

We have returned another child from Russia: 17-year-old Ilona is happy to be home, - wrote Kuleba.

He also published touching footage of the girl's meeting.

Kuleba noted that despite a number of difficult challenges, the Save Ukraine team managed to make maximum efforts, and the kidnapped girl is finally in her native Ukrainian land.

A meeting with her mum awaits her. Save Ukraine is happy to be involved in this incredible mission.

Earlier Socialportal reported that five boarding school pupils from Mykolaiv region, who were deported to Krasnodar Krai by the enemy, were returned to Ukraine.
