Ukraine needs 10 years and $750 billion to restore - Shmygal


To implement the plan for the restoration of Ukraine, a Recovery Platform will be created.
This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the presentation of the document at an international conference taking place in the Swiss city of Lugano.
The activities of the plan are going to be financed at the expense of seized Russian assets, grants and soft loans, private sector investments and extra-budgetary contributions, as well as funds from the state budget of Ukraine.
According to the prime minister, the plan should be completed in 10 years. This will cost $750 billion. The main points of the plan are:
▪️ restart of SAP, NABU and corporatization of state-owned enterprises - $0.1 billion
▪️ digitalization of the state - $0.1 billion
▪️ strengthening security and defense - $50 billion
▪️ clean and secure environment - $20 billion
▪️ Energy Independence and Green Deal - $130 Billion
▪️ improvement of the business environment - $5 billion
▪️ competitive access to capital - $75 billion
▪️ ensuring macro-financial stability - $60-80 billion
▪️ restoration of housing and infrastructure in the regions - $150-250 billion
▪️ development of the education system - $5 billion
▪️ Modernization of the healthcare system – $5 billion
▪️ development of culture and sports - $20 billion
