Ukraine has started implementing a new strategy against Russia - Grozev

The attack on the Kursk region of the Russian Federation came as a surprise to Russia's top leadership. And not only for him.
Ukraine has changed its tactics of fighting the enemy and is doing everything possible to prevent the Russians from succeeding on external fronts. This opinion was voiced by journalist of The Insider Hristo Grozev in an interview with Suspilnyy, commenting on Ukraine's operation in Kursk Region and media information about the liquidation of PMC Wagner fighters in Mali.
What happened in Mali is obviously a new strategy of Ukrainian intelligence. Creating multipolar fronts so that Russia could not hold successes on any of them unambiguously. And the fact that the RF now has to bring people back from Africa, it means creating chaos for them. And a loss of confidence in them by Africa's dictators. And this is very important," he explained.
Speaking about the operation in Kursk region, Grozev noted that it came as a surprise to the leaders of many Western countries.
Their first reaction was that it was some kind of psycho-operation, which should create tension among Russians. But already after the first two nights, their attitude changed. Now they believe that if there is a chance to gain a foothold, it can become a lever for future negotiations," Grozev said.
He also noted that the Kremlin is now experiencing panic, as Moscow expected to advance on Ukrainian territories before the US presidential election. Further, Putin hoped for the coming to power of the allegedly loyal to Russia Trump. However, the changed strategy of the Ukrainian armed forces brought down the aggressors' plans.
Now the Russian Federation's decisions look increasingly chaotic," Grozev added.
