Ukraine controls 74 settlements in Russia's Kursk region


The Ukrainian military continues to advance in some parts of Russia's Kursk Region. There are now 74 populated areas under Ukrainian control.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this after a conversation with the AFU commander-in-chief, Oleksandr Syrskyy.
Despite the difficult, intense fighting, the advance of our forces in Kursk Region continues, the exchange fund for our state is replenished. There are 74 settlements under Ukrainian control," Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian military in Kursk region is carrying out inspections and stabilisation activities. And also the development of humanitarian solutions for these territories continues.
Oleksandr Syrskyy said that today the AFU advanced in some directions of the Kursk region from 1 to 3 kilometres. 40 kilometres² of the Russian territory is under control.
Fighting is taking place along the entire front line. The situation, despite the high intensity of hostilities, is under control. We continue the operation, - the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU summarised.
