- Ukraine has returned the bodies of 51 dead defenders

The bodies of 51 defenders who gave their lives in the battles for Ukraine's independence have been returned to Ukraine.
This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War (CHPTW).
Thanks to a number of measures, the Ukrainian side managed to bring home the bodies of 51 dead defenders.
The transfer of the bodies took place thanks to the joint work of the Coordination Headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war, the Department for Civil-Military Cooperation of the AFU General Staff and the Department for Persons Missing in Action under Special Circumstances of the Ministry of Internal Affairs," the statement said.
In total, Ukraine has managed to repatriate the bodies of 1,832 defenders during two years. The work to find and return the bodies of all the fallen soldiers continues.
