The ministry has revealed how it plans to de-occupy and re-integrate Crimea
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new plan of the Strategy for De-Occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
This is reported by the Ministry of Reintegration.
The strategy has been updated to take account of martial law conditions. Given that the liberation of the peninsula may take place as soon as possible.
The liberation of Crimea is inevitable. Already now, the state must prepare for the full restoration of Ukrainian authorities in Crimea. First and foremost, it needs to form a reliable cadre reserve for renewal. These citizens must ensure not only the revival of governance, but also the restoration of justice. We have a clear action plan, with responsible executors assigned to each item," Iryna Vereshchuk stressed.
In general, the improved plan of reintegration and de-occupation of the peninsula includes 127 updated measures.
In particular, it concerns such areas:
- protection of the rights of Ukrainian citizens and legal entities whose legitimate interests have been violated as a result of armed aggression;
- social and humanitarian policy;
- international cooperation;
- economic policy;
- defence and security component, etc.
New activities are also included, including:
- development of a draft law on the legal regime in the de-occupied territories;
- the formation of a pool of workers to staff the judiciary, law enforcement and government agencies;
- establishment of a military administration to operate in Crimea;
- medical, rehabilitation and psychological adaptation of war veterans and those freed from Russian captivity.
