Tusk admits war with Russia in as little as 18 months

NATO has only 18 months to prepare for war with Russian Federation, says Tusk.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Russia may be ready for a direct confrontation with Europe in 2027, which is why Poland is already actively preparing for such a scenario. He said this in a statement published on Platform X.
The day before, Tusk held a meeting with General Alexus Hrynkiewicz, commander-in-chief of NATO forces and at the same time of US troops in Europe. He recalled that the latter had earlier explicitly warned of Russia's preparations for a possible war with NATO, including potential aggression against Poland.
Today I also had the opportunity to have conversations with the former and current heads of British intelligence MI6. All these meetings, conversations and decisions are all about one goal: Poland must be ready. The Polish army must be well-equipped and the situation in the country must be stable, so that we can respond to any scenario," Tusk emphasised.
He said he would soon be making certain decisions concerning national security issues, including measures aimed at ensuring domestic political stability.
