Trump's son went to Greenland, and after the visit, he published a post where he wrote that Greenland loves America and Trump.

Donald Trump Jr, son of the newly elected US president, could use homeless people in his propaganda videos. He bribed them with a warm lunch in a luxury restaurant to say on camera how much they want Greenland to become part of the United States of America. This is reported by the Danish public broadcaster DR, citing sources.

Journalists point out that Trump - Jr. visited Greenland. He went to the island after his father said that he intends to buy it from Denmark, and also that the inhabitants of the island are allegedly eager to become part of the United States. Trump - Jr. found some of them and made a video with them.

In the video, the nikki people are having lunch at a restaurant in the local luxury hotel Hans Egede, where they were brought by the son of the US president-elect. He calls them "his Greenland fans". At the same time, the men are wearing caps with Trump's campaign slogan Make America great again.

Media outlets pointed out that some of those appearing in Trump Jr's video are actually homeless and vulnerable people who are often in front of a supermarket in Greenland's capital Nuuku. Trump's social media has labelled them as "local people."

'These are homeless and old people who have no money to live on, and here they suddenly can eat in a restaurant where they have never been,' the journalists wrote. They do not exclude that they declared the island's desire to become part of the United States under pressure or out of a sense of gratitude for a warm lunch in a good place.

In addition, employees of a supermarket in Nuuku told journalists that they saw Trump Jr.'s PR people walking the streets of the city, handing out caps and inviting people to eat for free in the restaurant. Many people didn't even realise the real reason for the invitation.

Greenlandic MP Aaja Gemnitz reacted to Trump Jr's visit and condemned the way they were brought in to make the video.

I don't think that's right. The way I see it: you're giving people free food in exchange for them putting on a cap and starring in the masses in videos for social media and podcasts," she said.

Note that Trump offered Denmark to buy Greenland from her. Copenhagen responded by refusing. After that, Trump said that military or economic action could be taken against Greenland. In his opinion, Greenland is "needed by the US for economic security".
