Trump may organise a common meeting with Zelensky and Putin in Washington.

US special representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg said on Fox News that Trump intends to stop the war in Ukraine in the near future and will do everything possible to do so.

Kellogg emphasised that he believes in Trump's intentions and that he will find ways to resolve the armed conflict.

Donald Trump is the only person who can stop the war in Ukraine, and with his help the war can end in the next few months," Kellogg said.

He also added that the issue of a ceasefire is "overdue" as "Ukrainians and Russians are tired of killing each other."

Kellogg also admitted that Trump may invite Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin to Washington and hold talks there.

Trump is playing three-level chess, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did something like this... President Trump is thinking on a level that we sometimes just look at with wonder. And it's working. And something like this wouldn't surprise me," he said.

He also added that before announcing talks Trump and Kellogg himself want to "listen to the people".

We will remind, the President-elect of the United States Donald Trump appointed his special representative for Ukraine and Russia 80-year-old retired General Keith Kellogg. Kellogg's task will be to find ways to end the war.

Earlier, Trump promised to end the war in Ukraine within one day, but did not specify how exactly he intended to achieve this.
