Trump thinks Putin will try to take over all of Ukraine

Trump doubts Putin's ability to take over all of Ukraine.
US President Donald Trump has expressed doubt that Kremlin head Vladimir Putin is capable of implementing a plan to completely seize Ukraine. He said this while speaking to journalists, commenting on the situation around the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Speaking to the press, Trump said that despite tough sanctions from the West, Putin has learnt to circumvent the restrictions.
We imposed sanctions and he's pretty good at dealing with them. He knows how to circumvent them," the US leader noted.
Nevertheless, Trump said that it would be extremely difficult for the Russian dictator to carry out his plan to completely occupy Ukraine.
Perhaps Putin wants to seize the entire territory of Ukraine. But I think it will be very difficult for him. He is obviously a tough nut to crack - nothing has changed in this plan. But I'm surprised: we had a lot of good conversations, we could stop all this, and suddenly - the bombing started," the US President added.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin reiterated his readiness to stop the war against Ukraine, but only on the terms announced back in June 2024. In particular, Russia demands:
complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Russian-occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions;
ukraine's legal refusal to join NATO;
consolidation of the non-aligned and non-nuclear status of the state.
