Trump has an answer on whether it's possible to end the war by the end of 2025

Working groups are working to find a formula for a peace agreement, he said.
US presidential special envoy Steve Whitkoff has said that the parties could reach a compromise in the next few months, which would make it possible to conclude a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia by the end of 2025 or even earlier.
In an interview with the Fox News TV channel, he noted that special working groups were working on finding a peace formula and expressed hope that a solution would be found in the near future.
Answering the question about possible territorial concessions, Whitkoff emphasised: Donald Trump's position is that the decision should be made solely by Ukrainians. According to him, the issue of peace is much more complicated than simply "giving up land", as security guarantees and confidence that aggression will not be repeated remain key for Ukraine.
